Saying good-bye to my idol and my inspiration...
George A. Romero
Three gay friends leave the safety of West Hollywood to attend a Contemporary Christian concert on a religious campus in the Los Angeles suburbs. Although immediately welcomed, they'll soon realize that their presence will set in motion an evening of horrific events which will bring forth hordes of religious, blood-thirsty monsters. Will these queens survive the night?
This project is a feature-length spec script and is currently in the early writing and brainstorming stages.
In light of her sagging career, and following the death of her husband – Hollywood actress Alexandra returns to her theatre roots in a small Tennessee town to once again take the stage – where 20 years before she survived a devastating and deadly tornado. With plenty of baggage and an ever-lingering survivor's guilt, she must face her fears and her past; as well as the supernatural mystery of The Costume People.
A 9th draft and a 1st reading of this feature-length script are complete. The piece has been protected with the WGA; West.
THIS JUST IN!
The Costume People was selected as a TOP TEN finalist (feature screenplay competition) for Filmquest 2017, a quarter-finalist for 2017's Shriekfest and a TOP TEN Finalist for the 7th Annual NOLA Horror Film Festival! And I'm still waiting on one more competition announcement!
